New Clubs Crop Up

By Christopher Wootton

This year at Bay Farm School, clubs are back on almost every day of the week and are open to any newcomers! Just go to a meeting during lunch or after school and sign up.

At the start of the week, the first Bay Farm club is the new Math Club with Mr. Valois. On Tuesdays you can go to his classroom to solve challenging math problems, do your math homework, get math help, or give math help. Math club is on Tuesday during lunch in P9.

If you have time after school on Wednesdays, head to Ms. Bonnie’s classroom for Glee Club. During Glee you can sing, dance and play instruments with a group. Glee Club is on Wednesdays at 1:10 p.m. in P1.

Near the end of the week, go to Gardening and Cooking Club if cooking is your thing. It is led by Ms. Garner, and every other week students will participate in fun activities like planting or cooking with ingredients straight from the garden. GACC is on Thursdays during lunch.

Finally, on Friday during lunch, there is the last club of the week. During Journalism Club you can write articles about school-related events and have your work posted online to the Dolphin Tail newspaper.

So from arithmetic to writing, these clubs have it all. Any Bay Farm student is welcome to join any club, so go to one of them now!
