8th graders ready to take on high school

Whether it was dancing with Mrs. Carmena or missing the bus and having to walk back from Park Street, Bay Farm School’s 8th graders have had an exciting year. There are still so many questions left to answer, so I interviewed some of the soon-to-be graduates. Check out these students’ exciting plans for the future.
Future Alameda High School student
Q: Why did you go to Bay Farm School?
A: All of my friends were going here, and it seemed like a really good community.
Q: What was your favorite 8th grade experience?
A: I really liked when we went to the ballet in San Francisco.
Q: What would you tell incoming 7th graders?
A: Make sure to have good friends that can support you.

Q: Why did you go to Bay Farm School?
A: It looked like a small fun school.
Q: What was your favorite 8th grade experience?
A: I had fun when we went to watch “Pitch Perfect” and had to walk back.
Q: What would you tell incoming 7th graders?
A: 8th grade is very different from the other grades; treat it differently and get all your work in.

A: It was close to home and had a good community.

A: I really liked that play on Park Street we went to.

A: Don’t procrastinate–get your work done on time and get good grades.

A: I learned how important it is to make friends.
