National History Day projects completed

Middle school students turned in their National History Day projects Wednesday, Feb. 25, and that night welcomed throngs of parents, family members, teachers and others eager to see the results of their months of research and creativity. Exhibits included pop-up boards, websites and documentaries. Judging — which will be done by the mayor, vice mayor, professional artists, an archeologist and others — will be held Tuesday, March 3. At least 12 projects from BFMS will go to regionals. Bay Farm is the only school in the Bay Area from which all students in the 6th, 7th and 8th grades are participating in the NHD contest.
